Meet the Naturopathic Doctors

Dr. Parissa Bunin graduated with her B.Sc. in Biology from the University of New Brunswick in 1994. She was certified in Massage Therapy by both the Dunedin College of Health (New Zealand) in 1995 and Kine Concept (New Brunswick) in 1996.

Dr. Judah Bunin graduated with his B.Sc. with Honors in Biology from Acadia University in 1992. He then completed a Masters in Zoology with Distinction at the University of Otago (New Zealand) in 1994.

Both Judah and Parissa completed the four-year, full-time post-graduate program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, the only accredited Naturopathic College in Canada at the time. Judah graduated with awards for highest academic average overall, and for outstanding clinical and academic performance. Parissa received the Dr. John Bastyr Award for excellence in the area of Botanical Medicine.

Judah and Parissa are registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy (Ontario). They are active members of the New Brunswick Association of Naturopathic Doctors, where Parissa serves as Treasurer and Judah is the President, as well as the Canadian Naturopathic Association. Parissa is also a member of the New Brunswick Massotherapy Association, where she has been registered as a Massage Therapist since 1995.

Fredericton Naturopathic Clinic

The Fredericton Naturopathic Clinic was founded by Dr. Parissa Bunin, B.Sc., R.M.T., N.D., and Dr. Judah Bunin, B.Sc.H., M.Sc., N.D. The clinic officially opened on August 1, 2003, occupying the same premises as its predecessor, the Fredericton Clinic of Naturopathic Medicine, which had been owned and operated for 7 years by Dr. Carolin Galvin, N.D.

We are currently the only naturopathic medical clinic in Fredericton, and Parissa is the only Registered Massage Therapist in New Brunswick who is also a Naturopathic Doctor.

We are conveniently located in the Kchikhusis Centre (alongside the St. Mary's Supermarket) at 150 Cliffe St.-Unit 10, easily accessible from both the North and South sides of the river. There is abundant free parking just outside our door and our ground-floor office is easily accessible by wheelchair.
